The "Binneas" initiative was set up to preserve Iveragh's musical heritage for the future and to pass on the valuable music and singing jewelery collected as part of the project to the next generation.
Peter Mullarkey, a Liverpool musician now living in Cahirciveen, has collected a large repertoire of songs and music and is available on the initiative's website - binneas.com.
Seán Garvey, a singer from Cahersiveen who spent many years living in Dublin, has been working with us for some time as a resident singer.
Seán goes on a musical visit to the Gaeltacht primary schools to share the songs of the area with the children.
He also conducts a Singing Club and this group meets once a month.
